Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and your purchase of works from JeanElton Studio & Gallery, LLC ("JeanElton," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company registered in the State of Connecticut, United States. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Our works. Each piece offered by JeanElton is an original work of ceramic art, made by hand. Because every piece is individually formed and finished, natural variation in color, surface, texture, form, and dimensions is inherent to the work and is not a defect. Photographs and descriptions convey each piece as faithfully as possible, but slight differences between the work you receive and its images are a normal and intended characteristic of handmade ceramic art.

Limited Production pieces. Certain designs are offered as Limited Production works. When a Limited Production design is no longer in inventory, a new rendition of that design may be created. Each rendition is an individually made original and will reflect the natural variation described above.

Orders and pricing. All prices are in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing or descriptions and to decline or cancel any order, including after an order has been placed, in which case any payment made will be refunded. Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance.

Shipping and returns. Shipping and returns are governed by our Shipping Policy and our Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these terms by reference.

Intellectual property. All content on this site — including images, text, descriptions, and the JeanElton name and marks — is the property of JeanElton Studio & Gallery, LLC and may not be reproduced or used without our written permission.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JeanElton Studio & Gallery, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or your purchase of any work. Our total liability for any claim relating to a work is limited to the amount you paid for that work.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
