With a tall, stately form and gently fluted rim, it evokes the easy calm of a shaded porch on a warm afternoon—where nothing moves but the breeze and time itself seems to stretch.

The exterior surface is dressed in soft lime with crisp, whisper-thin stripes in sky blue and cloud pink running its height. The arrangement of these stripes—carefully hand-applied—gives the piece a tailored grace, like a finely pressed summer fabric. Their parallel rhythm plays against the gentle undulation of the rim, a contrast that subtly animates the form without disturbing its composure.

Inside, a matte wash of cerulean offers a vivid yet grounded surprise—echoing the suggestion of open skies glimpsed through the slats of a porch. The work is fired first to approximately 1800 degrees F, after which any remaining fine alterations are made, and the surface treatment is applied by hand by the artist. A second firing to about 2100 degrees F completes the process, ensuring its durability and artistic integrity.
