A Featured-scale TallVase finished in an Open Space Line & Form surface treatment, in a Multi-Color / Cream color palette. 12 inches tall, 10 inches wide, 9 inches deep, weighing 5 pounds, with a gloss interior and a gloss exterior. Line & Form pieces use deliberate linear marks — incisions, applied lines, or directional strokes — to define the visual structure of the piece.

The Story of the Work
Bold geometric ribbon forms wrap continuously around the surface, their clean lines and saturated color creating a pattern that reads as both architectural and decorative. The ribbon motif — precise, repeated, controlled — is the Precis sensibility at its most graphic, the limited palette giving the design maximum impact.
The Precis_Mixed surface treatment is built on the discipline of restraint — a deliberately limited palette in which each color is chosen with care and applied with precision. Where other treatments revel in abundance, Precis works through reduction, letting a small number of hues carry the full expressive weight of the surface.
The work is fired first to approximately 1800 degrees F, after which any remaining fine alterations are made, and the surface treatment is applied by hand by the artist. A second firing to about 2100 degrees F completes the process, ensuring its durability and artistic integrity.
This piece bears the JeanElton signature on its underside and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), both of which display its catalogue reference.
