Brilliant yellow envelops these exuberant forms, their surfaces animated by colorful painted marks that feel as loose and joyful as a day at the beach. The palette is relentlessly warm — all sun and sand and good weather — with the additional painted elements adding the casual, spontaneous energy that the Prism_RollerPlus technique handles so well.

The Prism_RollerPlus surface treatment begins on the studio table, where glazes are rolled out and blended with a printer's roller before being applied directly to the form — a process that produces the characteristic sweeping color movement unique to the Prism technique. A second design element is then added over that fluid ground, providing a focal point that anchors the composition.

The work is fired first to approximately 1800 degrees F, after which any remaining fine alterations are made, and the surface treatment is applied by hand by the artist. A second firing to about 2100 degrees F completes the process, ensuring its durability and artistic integrity.

This piece bears the JeanElton signature on its underside and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), both of which display its catalogue reference.
