Sunny Shores IV

This later member of the Sunny_Shores lineage carries forward the family warmth — brilliant yellow forms with exuberant painted decoration — while exhibiting its own distinct character in proportion and mark. The ruffled rim and vivid palette remain the consistent signature across the extended family.

The Prism_RollerPlus surface treatment begins on the studio table, where glazes are rolled out and blended with a printer's roller before being applied directly to the form — a process that produces the characteristic sweeping color movement unique to the Prism technique. A second design element is then added over that fluid ground, providing a focal point that anchors the composition.

The work is fired first to approximately 1800 degrees F, after which any remaining fine alterations are made, and the surface treatment is applied by hand by the artist. A second firing to about 2100 degrees F completes the process, ensuring its durability and artistic integrity.

This piece bears the JeanElton signature on its underside and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), both of which display its catalogue reference.
